Joe Krkoska is ADAMA’s EVP Global Operations

Crop protection group ADAMA, a combination of Adama Agricultural Solutions Ltd. and Hubei Sanonda Co., Ltd. announced that Joseph M. Krkoska has been named  Executive Vice President of Global Operations.

Krkoska succeeds Dr. Eli Abramov, who is retiring. He will be based at ADAMA’s Israel headquarters.

Krkoska joins ADAMA after 30 years with the Dow Chemical Company, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in R&D, manufacturing and operations, and most recently as Global Supply Chain Director at Dow AgroSciences.

Chen Lichtenstein, ADAMA’s President and CEO, said, “Joe is a recognized strategic thinker who has led complex organizational structures throughout his career,” adding, “I am confident that he will further enhance our sustainable positioning and strengthen our supply platform.”

Krkoska holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, with additional certifications from the Universities of Michigan, Harvard and Thunderbird.

Based in Beijing and Tel Aviv, ADAMA is comprised of Adama Agricultural Solutions Ltd. and Hubei Sanonda Ltd. Its 6,600 employees in over 100 countries provide farmers with solutions to control weeds, insects and disease, and improve yields.
