Global Supply Chain Risk Falls for 3rd Straight Quarter

Political uncertainty and natural disasters across the world failed to increase global supply chain risk in the third quarter, according to the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Risk Index. The CIPS Risk Index fell for the third consecutive quarter to 80.3, down from 81.3 in Q2. General Mills announced that it is joining other companies in an agreement to end deforestation. The joint Frameworks for Action, led by the World Cocoa Foundation, was announced at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) in Bonn, Germany.
